Lake Bde Maka Ska

This photo was one of my favorites when in Minneapolis, Minnesota. "The land of 10,000 lakes" I loved the way the sailboats in the background complimented the sunset hitting the life jackets. I sadly didn't get to ride one of the sailboats but love this photo.

Bismarck North Pacific Railroad Bridge

This bridge is sadly being replaced and I wanted to capture the sunset behind the bridge before its fall. While trying to get the perfect shot for over an hour I decided it was time to pack up... and all of a sudden I heard the train's horn sound behind me. I quickly turned my camera back on and was able to capture it crossing the Missouri.

Wild Horses of Medora

If you never have visited Medora, North Dakota... You should! These wild horses have been native to Medora for hundreds of years. Its crazy to think there were talks of removing them from the national park.

Huckleberry House

I love night photography it is the most challenging and yet most rewarding. I love the classic look of this building and the way it faces the Missouri River. When editing I always look to see what a photo would look like without color. I cannot tell you how much of love black and white photos... They invoke a feeling I can't stop chasing.

Blarney Stone

Is anyone else a fan of this hotspot downtown Bismarck? I will tell you I have consumed more waffle fries and Dublin dip here then I probably should! I love this photo the only thing I wish I could change is for them to change out the dead lightbulb!
